Welcome to our New Chapter Website!

We hope you like our new look and new features for members.  Following is some important information:

  • We will be thoroughty testing the site through Monday June 22.
  • New Login Information:
    • Current Chapter Members will have new login credentials on our site.  Log in with the same user id and password as used on the PMI Global website (pmi.org). 
    • Non-members will no longer have site accounts and won't be required to log in to register for events.  They are always welcome to register for events at non-member rates.
  • Annual Conference registration is open!  Registration for other events will open later in the summer.
  • We will be using PayPal for credit card transactions.  A Pay Pal account is not required.

In the next few months we will be moving to a different vendor for our web services.  These include web site, hosting, database, registration system, document and image repository, e-list system, internal and external email systems, and more!

Our initial goal is to replicate our current functionality and content in the new system.  However, the move to different tools allows opportunities for improvement, and also forces process changes. 

Watch this page for updates on the project status, impacts to YOU, and opportunities to weigh in!

Project Updates

  • Planned cutover will be in mid-June, 2015
  • The content from our current web pages has been moved.  We are in the process of validating this and testing links.
  • The new skin (web template) has been applied.
  • Historical registration records have been exported and will be kept in a DB for future reference.
  • The registration system works very differently than our current system.  There are some nice new features we will look at implementing after we go live.
  • Member data will be loaded automatically, daily.  This includes adding new members and updating existing member records, as well as expiring those whose membership has lapsed. 

User Impacts

  • Current Chapter Members will have accounts (username and password) for the new site. 

       >Member Login credentials will change.
       >Single sign-on with PMI.org.

  • Non-members will no longer have site accounts and won't be required to log in to register for events.  They are of course always welcome to register for events at non-member rates.
  • Historical registration receipt information will not be moved to the new site!  If you need your records, please export them now!   Instructions below.

How to export registration information

Chapter Members (and former members):

  • Log in to the web site, choose My Profile > My Profile button (for Chapter Members) > My Profile tab (hover) > View Transactions. 
  • You can view/print each registration receipt from this page. 

Non-members:

  • Try the method above first. 
  • If you cannot access your records and absolutely MUST have them, email support@pmi-portland.org.
