President - Sireesha Akula, PMP
Position Overview
Sireesha (Siri) Akula, PMP, brings 20+ years of project management and nonprofit leadership experience. Since 2019, she has served on the PMI Portland Board, most recently as VP of Professional Development. She led the chapter’s pivot to virtual programming, reintroduced in-person events, and launched new mentoring initiatives. Professionally, Siri is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Intel, where she supports cloud and AI deployments. She also volunteers with the Society of Women Engineers and Lake Oswego High School. Siri’s vision is to build a more inclusive and future-ready chapter that supports and inspires the next generation of project professionals.
President Elect - Joseph Tucker
.Joseph Tucker is the President-Elect for the PMI Portland Chapter, having previously served as the chapter's Director of Technology. He thrives at the intersection of creativity, technology, and leadership. With a background spanning healthcare, digital publishing, broadcast and streaming radio, and social media, Joseph brings cross-industry experience and a global perspective, having led teams across four US states and three continents.
Joseph built a craft beer review platform that grew to more than one million users and was later acquired by a Fortune 100 company. His career has included work across UX and design, architecture, engineering, marketing, product, program and project management, and executive leadership. He currently works as an AI Systems Advisor for a clinical biotechnology company and volunteers in service to his community, including at his local public library.
Joseph is a published author, has completed marathons and triathlons, and is a dedicated dog dad and Oregon park saunterer. He is passionate about mentoring, community service, and spending quality time as a husband and father. His current obsessions include leading AI-assisted development teams, perfecting homemade pizza, and learning to identify every native tree in his neighborhood.
Past President - Angie Eastman, PMP
If you haven't met me, my name is Angie Eastman and I have a menagerie of experiences and am enthusiastic about all of them. My all time favorites include aircraft operations in the Navy, School District Program Management in Alaska, and my current role Engineering Operations at Nike. I truly love volunteering and sharing that passion with anyone who is interested. The outreach team at PMI has been my volunteering homebase for the past three years and I look forward to many more years with the group.
I want to continue the amazing work we accomplished the past few years and build on the partnerships we established during our Covid adventure. A heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors and volunteers through this challenging time. Now that we are doing more in person the continued professional growth and FUN can begin.
Secretary - Bhakti Shetye
Bhakti Shetye has over 10 years of experience in wireless technology. She currently works as an Application Engineer at Keysight Technologies, where she collaborates with customers to solve technical challenges while driving customer success and continuous improvement.Bhakti is actively involved in community building and professional development. She serves as an Assistant Organizer for Portland Women in Technology (PDXWIT), where she helps create inclusive networking and learning opportunities for technology professionals. She has also served as a Technical Judge for Technovation Girls, supporting and encouraging the next generation in STEM.
As Secretary of the PMI Portland Chapter, Bhakti looks forward to supporting effective chapter operations, collaboration, and member engagement.
Executive Communications
VP of Governance and Policies - Vikki Mueller Espinosa
Vikki Mueller Espinosa is an organizational strategist, educator, executive coach, and former Intel leader with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations strengthen teams, develop leaders, and build collaborative partnerships. Throughout her career, she has worked with cross-functional teams to design programs, improve organizational effectiveness, develop talent, and guide change across corporate, higher education, and nonprofit environments.
After a 31-year career at Intel in finance, business operations, workforce strategy, and organizational transformation, Vikki now serves as Program Coordinator for Portland State University's DISC Semiconductor Internship Program. In partnership with faculty, employers, and community leaders, she helps create internship experiences that prepare students for successful careers while strengthening Oregon's semiconductor workforce.
Vikki earned a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Adult Learning and Higher Education from Portland State University. She is passionate about governance, leadership development, mentoring emerging professionals, and creating practical systems that enable people and organizations to succeed together.
A nationally and internationally recognized speaker and the author of One in Eight, Vikki believes the best outcomes come from bringing together diverse perspectives, building trust, and helping teams do their best work. She is honored to serve PMI Portland and contribute to a community dedicated to advancing the project management profession throughout the region.

VP of Finance - Rita Munarwi
Rita Munarwi serves as Vice President of Finance for the PMI Portland Chapter. She is a Principal Technical Program Manager at Microsoft with over 20 years of global experience in the semiconductor industry, leading complex technology programs and driving operational excellence across engineering organizations.
Beyond her professional role, Rita is an active leader in engineering and professional communities, with a strong commitment to advancing and supporting women in technology.
Rita is passionate about mentorship, leadership development, and helping others grow and thrive in their careers. She is also an author and speaker who advocates for leading with purpose and making a meaningful impact through service. Having lived and worked in Singapore, Germany, and the United States, she values diverse perspectives and enjoys connecting with people from different cultures.

VP of Membership - Meghan Dusaniwskyj
Meghan Dusaniwskyj serves as VP of Membership for the PMI Portland Chapter, where she focuses on enhancing member experiences and building community connections through data-driven engagement strategies.
Having recently relocated from the East Coast to Portland, Meghan brings extensive experience in strategic marketing and program management. Throughout her career, she has developed membership growth strategies that significantly increased retention rates through personalized communications and value-added offerings.
Meghan is passionate about creating professional development opportunities that meet members where they are while supporting their career advancement goals. Her vision emphasizes leveraging partnerships to position PMI Portland as an essential hub for all project professionals, regardless of methodology or industry.
Currently serving on the Membership Enrichment Committee for Oswego Lake Country Club, Meghan also volunteers for the Portland chapter of For Goodness Cakes and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Saint Joseph's University.
Meghan is excited to contribute her expertise in community building to help PMI Portland continue growing as a vibrant, inclusive professional community.

VP of Marketing - Naznin Akter, PMP
Dr. Naznin Akter, PMP, has been elected as the Vice President of Marketing for the Project Management Institute Portland Chapter, where she will lead the chapter’s brand strategy, elevate its marketing portfolio, strengthen content and digital engagement, and drive cohesive cross‑portfolio collaboration to enhance the overall PMI Portland brand experience.
In addition to this role, Dr. Akter serves as the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Communications (January 2023 – June 2026) for PMI Portland, overseeing brand positioning, content development, and multi‑channel communication strategies. She previously supported the South Florida PMI Chapter as a Marketing Content Developer (2020–2021), advancing chapter visibility through targeted storytelling and member‑centric messaging.
Dr. Akter is also the founder of NextGen SemiBuzz and a semiconductor engineering leader with expertise in advanced process integration, technology strategy, and cross‑functional project leadership. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Florida International University, with research focused on semiconductor fabrication and micro‑ and nanotechnology. Her industry experience includes key technical roles at Intel and Micron, where she contributed to FEOL process integration, yield improvement, and the successful scale‑up of advanced technologies into high‑volume manufacturing. She is recognized for her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, drive strategic execution, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Dr. Akter is an active leader within IEEE, contributing to Women in Engineering, the Electron Devices Society, Entrepreneurship, and Technology and Engineering Management communities. As a science communicator and mentor, she regularly writes about leadership, career development, and the future of the semiconductor industry—empowering professionals to navigate both technical innovation and organizational growth.

VP of Operations - Lily Fitzpatrick
Lily Fitz has volunteered as PMI member since 2013 and currently serves as the VP of Operartions & Technology. She has supported the Chapter as Assistant Technology with onboarding new members, implementing virtual meeting solutions, also as Technology Director by helping members to follow the chapter best practices for procedures and processes. She is an active member of Global PMI. She is a founder of the PMI Guatemala Chapter, Former Washington D.C. member & Maryland entrepreneurs. She served community as PDX-Women & Chick-In-Tech | MESA Coach | Oracle | Brain and Cognitive Science | Talk-In-Tel VP of Education & PSAS as SpacePort PDX Researcher.
Lily Fitz has spoken at PSU’s PICMET conference on the role of EQ in Agile Project Management. She had provided leadership as an Agile Consultant web and mobile for OPM assessment, EPG, PMO, BPA & Data Science. She has aided complex Strategic Projects for: SpacePort PDX, Energy, Image Processing, Health, Educational, Non Profit, Government, Environment & Community Development.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick holds an Engineering & Computer Science degree, a Master’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management | Project Management Graduate | New Product Development | User-Centered Design | Energy Policy & Management Certificates from PSU. She is also trained in Strategic Project Leadership, Neuroscience, EQ & Google’s “Search Inside Yourself”. Lily Fitz lives in the Portland area with her geek husband and two grown up kids. She practices yoga and meditation, hikes and swims. When she is not having fun in the great Portland outdoors, she enjoys serving the local community.

VP of Outreach - Kara Sanders, PMP
Kara Sanders is a strategic project leader with over a decade of experience in project and portfolio management, business analysis, and nonprofit consulting. At SEIU 775 Benefits Group, she manages key organizational initiatives and drives cross-functional impact. She also leads Pallas Athena Consulting, supporting nonprofits with strategy and risk management. Kara is active in the Portfolio and Project Management Leadership Forum and is known for fostering collaboration and building strong teams. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and creative hobbies like painting and gardening.

VP of Professional Development - Jahzeel Ormeno, PMP, MBA
Jahzeel Ormeno is a transformation leader with over 15 years of experience turning strategy into results across sectors. As founder of SimplexityPM, she brings executive leadership, operational clarity, and product strategy—grounded in Lean, Agile, and human-centered practices.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Jahzeel has led teams throughout the U.S., Latin America, and Europe, guiding cross-cultural initiatives with a blend of structure and flexibility. She helps organizations navigate change while keeping teams aligned, empowered, and focused on what matters most.
Jahzeel is a certified Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and holds an MBA. Alongside her consulting work, she taught business and leadership as an adjunct professor and advised nonprofits and civic boards on strategy, governance, and inclusive growth. Outside of work, you’ll find her in the kitchen blending global flavors, dancing, or out on the trails—where she leads a hometown running group that's grown to over 1,200 members.

VP of Programs - Judy Villamil, PMP
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Judy relocated to Oregon in 2021 and has embraced the Pacific Northwest's beautiful scenery and outdoor lifestyle. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, taking long walks, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Judy also serves as a board member with the Clackamas County Citizen Review Board (CRB) for Child Welfare, supporting efforts to improve outcomes for children and families in the community. She is excited to give back to the profession by helping PMI Portland continue delivering valuable programs that inspire, educate, and connect project professionals.
