E-List Sign-up Process

This page includes information for both the Roundtable and Job Posting Service E-Lists.

Important: Only current PMI Portland Chapter members may join the Job Posting E-List. If your membership expires, you will be removed from the E-List. Non-members will not see this in their list of available E-Lists to join. For information about how to join PMI and the PMI Portland Chapter, click here.

Variations in the process that pertain to the Job Posting E-List ONLY will appear in ( ) below.

PMI Portland Members

If you joined the PMI Portland Chapter within the past two weeks, see Disclaimers below.

Log in to the PMI Portland Chapter website (click here for details).
Click on My Profile at the top right.
Click on the My Features tab > E-Lists.
The E-Lists open to you are listed under the heading E-Lists Available to Join. (Job Posting Service is only available to PMI Portland Chapter members.)
Select the Subscribe link next to the Roundtable (or Job Posting Service) you want to join. A dialog box will open.
If you want to receive posted messages via email, check the Email Delivery box. (You will also be able to view messages by logging in to the E-list system on the website.)
The Notification Email Address field will default with your profile email address. You can change it if you want to receive E-List emails at a different address. There must be an email address in this field, even if you do not want Email delivery.
The E-List will now appear under the heading Subscribed E-Lists.

Non-Members with accounts (username/password)

Follow the instructions above for PMI Portland Chapter members.
If you do not see the E-Lists tab, read below, or contact support@pmi-portland.org.

Non-Members without accounts (username/password)

Create an account on the PMI Portland Chapter web site as follows:

Click on the link for the Non-Member Signup form.
Enter your email address in the field provided.
Enter your information into the form, including that you want to join a roundtable.
You will receive a confirmation email that includes your new password. However, the admin must manually change your account, which may take 24-48 hours.
After 48 hours, log in to the web site and follow the instructions above for PMI Portland Chapter members.

Keep Your Email is Current!

Chapter members must keep contact information current at the PMI GOC website. The PMI Portland Chapter receives member account updates from PMI weekly.
Non-members can update their email address by logging in and choosing My Profile link > My Profile tab > Edit Profile.
Remember–you may have set a different email address in your E-List profile. Log in and choose My Profile link > My Features tab > E-Lists > Edit button.

More Tips

Ensure that your email provider and/or email program allows emails from @memberclicks.com and @pmi-portland.org. All emails will come from these addresses, and allowing all mail from them and from any subdomains will help ensure your E-List emails are not tagged as spam.
To unsubscribe, log in to the site, select My Profile > My Features > E-Lists, and click on the Unsubscribe link next to the Roundtable or Job Posting E-List.

Disclaimers

Chapter membership information is imported regularly from PMI GOC and it may take up to two weeks for new member accounts to be created in our database. Click here for details about accounts.
Those who sign up will also receive email regarding PMI Portland Chapter activities and events.
