Corporate Outreach

The Corporate OutReach committee is in place to accomplish the following:

• Understand the needs of the companies in the corporate community we serve
• Identify the corporate and governmental organizations in the greater Portland metropolitan area that are candidates for involvement in PMI
• Expand the awareness among candidate organizations of PMI and the Portland Chapter — the programs and services we offer
• Increase the perceived value and recognition of the profession of project management among senior management and key personnel in corporate and governmental organizations
• Have company executives expect more effective Project Management practice, to raise the expectations of company executives for more effective project management
