Earn PDUs for newsletter articles! Newsletters are intended to support, educate, and inform our members. PMPs are invited to submit articles for our monthly chapter newsletter, for which they can earn up to 3 PDUs toward their continuing certification requirements.

Please submit articles and/or news items to one month prior to the next chapter meeting. Articles should be 300 to 1,000 words, written for the practitioner, and free of commercial content. Project Management topics may be directed to Novice, Intermediate or Seasoned professionals. A review committee(s) will consider all articles. Selection will be made based on relevance, content, author experience, available space, and level of audience. A balance for our audience is the goal. Remember that all content submitted must be unique to this newsletter or, if you've published it elsewhere previously, you must have the rights to re-publish it here. Content will be included on an as-needed and space available basis, providing it meets our quality requirements. Newsletter editor reserves the rights to edit for size.

It is the responsibility of the author to document the time they invest researching and preparing the article; and use that as the basis for claiming PDUs. The claim should not exceed 3 PDUs for our non-refereed publication. Details on how many PDUs must be earned and in what categories is included in the "Continuing Certification Requirements Program (CCR) Handbook." Please consider the article a Category 2, Self-Directed learning activity. The number of PDUs that an individual could claim would depend upon the level of research and effort - up to 3 PDUs can be claimed per relevant published article. Please review the handbook, including the definitions to assure you comply when claiming PDUs.
