Rachel Paulson, PMP |

Rachel Paulson is the Director
of Project Management Services and Training for Columbia Technical
Consulting, Inc. She has over 12 years combined Project, Engineering,
Resource Management and Consulting experience in the IT, software,
financial, retail, fitness, health plan, steel and truck manufacturing
industries, including EPMO, PMO and TMO consultation, development
and implementation. Her diverse industry experiences have created
a well rounded foundation for solving complex program and project
issues. Rachel’s current areas of interest include
project rescue (turning projects that have failed or are failing
into successes) in various organizations and project management
consulting with a specific focus on assessing EPMO / PMO maturity
and providing guided steps for achieving the next level of organizational
maturity.

My first contact with project management was while I worked on the Space Shuttle/Space Station, almost 20+ years ago. From that day I have navigated corporate America by working at some capacity as a project coordinator/manager for IBM, McDonnell Douglas, NASA, FedEx, Nike, Intel and Point B. I passed my PMP Exam the fall of 2005 and am excited to continue to contribute to the Portland Chapter.

Alan John is certified PMP and is a Senior Project Manager with over 25 years’ experience in managing large programs, individual projects and technical / engineering teams at various high tech companies, including fiber optic data communications, silicon and systems at Intel Corporation, and most recently as a consultant a small silicon start-up and currently the State of Oregon. Alan is a U.S Navy submarine service veteran with a BSEE from the University of Idaho in 1982, and an MS in Engineering Management from OGI, Beaverton in 1997. He has served as the industry chair to the University of Idaho, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for Curriculum the past 6 years. He wants to promote and support the PMI-Portland chapter however possible. He has many years of leadership and hands on experience in project management, program, and engineering management to provide to the chapter.

IT, and consulting projects during his 20+ year career in consulting
and high tech with firms such as Price Waterhouse and Hewlett Packard.

Jeff Oltmann, PMP |
VP At-Large Candidate |
Jeff Oltmann has led successful programs for over 20 years. He ran the project office for a $60M project portfolio at IBM’s Oregon development facility. Jeff’s hands-on program management experience includes program budgets over $100M and worldwide cross-functional teams of over 100 members. He is on OHSU’s graduate management faculty. |

Mr. Godard, born and raised
on the island of Haiti (Hispaniola), moved to the U.S. in the year
of 1995. He completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science
at Saint Thomas University in Miami, FL. He pursuit his master
degree right after in Computer Information Systems.

As VP At Large this past
year, and VP of Marketing & Outreach in 2004 and 2005, I provided
leadership to establish chapter strategy and foster smooth operation
of chapter events and activities. I enjoyed contributing to the
strategic success of the chapter, and fostering relationships with
chapter businesses, facilitating chapter sponsorship, advertising,
involvement, and support. As a chapter board member, I participated
in the development of the new board structure and helped in developing
growth and support strategies. I’m familiar with the structure,
processes, and the demands of each position.
